Don’t Wake the Scarecrow was created because of music.  It’s a blog dedicated to posting music news, photos, videos, and show reviews about a wide variety of artists from many different genres. We will have show reviews, album reviews, downloads, tour news, photo galleries, video galleries, and anything else related to music.

I’ve loved music since first listening to Jimi Hendrix’s album Axis: Bold as Love. From there it’s been a musical journey through all different types of music by artists from all different walks of life. I’ve decided to start this site just as a way to share the music that I find to be of the highest quality. Artists and bands who play for the music….and from the heart. If I can just get one person to try some new music from an artist they may not have heard of….i’ve done my job.

The name of the blog comes from a song written by the band The Felice Brothers. It can now also be seen performed by Simone Felice at The Duke & The King shows. It’s just one of the many amazing songs from The Felices.

The website functions when I have time to update it. If you would like to contribute by posting music news, please feel free to inquire at dontwakethescarecrow@gmail.com.
