Yimyames.com also says to expect a full length solo album soon. James is obviously a busy man, taking on his solo career and also his side project Monsters of Folk with M. Ward, Conor Oberst, and Mike Mogis. That’s right, while My Morning Jacket is taking a break from touring, Jim James is continuing on with a new band that formed out of friendship and respect following a 2004 collaborative tour. The debut album for Monsters of Folk will be released September 22 of this year.
